Lindfield Rotary has an ongoing and close working relationship with Killara High School through the sponsorship of many Youth programs that target the school population. In addition the school is used by the club for the enrolment of our visiting Rotary Exchange students. In the past we were also proud to have sponsored one of the young teachers from Killara, Sophie Bromley, on the Rotary International Group Study Exchange to Scandinavia and Russia. Likewise we were recently privileged to have as a Guest Speaker at the club, the Principal, Dr Mark Carter.

"KYDS" is a community based service initiated by the Rotary Club of Lindfield. The service provides early intervention via free counselling and support for young people in the Ku-ring-gai area of Sydney who are experiencing difficulty with the transition from adolescence to adulthood. The service is run by an independant Board of Management and Lindfield Rotary are happy to continue their interest in the service and to provide financial support from time to time.

The KPO was chosen by Lindfield Rotary to receive the "Pride of Workmanship Award" at the Annual Awards night held by the club in 2006.
