All of these programs are currently supported by Lindfield Rotary Club.
Rotary International Youth Exchange Program:
This program is responsible for the sponsorship of Australian students travelling abroad under the Rotary banner and for the hosting of students from abroad while they are guests of Rotary Clubs in Australia. Detailed information is available at www.rotaryyouthexchange.org.au The program targets students completing Year 12 in Australia for exchange in the year following their graduation. A condition of the twelve month exchange is attendance at school in their host city and active participation in the life of their host club.

Rotary Youth Driver Awareness:
This Road Safety Program for Youth is a one day program conducted on a school by school basis and is designed to help Year 11 students identify the risks associated with driving and encourage them to take a more responsible attitude to motoring. It is about education and attitude not training. Information is available at www.rotaryyouthdriverawareness.org

Model United Nations Assembly:
This event is organized and sponsored by Rotary Clubs to build international understanding and promote goodwill for world peace. It invites high school students to form school teams and participate in debates, along the principles adopted at the United Nations Assembly, pertinent to world political and social issues. Each team represents a country. Information, registration form and timetable is available at www.rydalmererotary.org.au
National Youth Science Forum:
One of Rotary's most significant youth projects, the two week Forum is an annual residential program for students entering Year 12 and passionate about Science. The program is conducted at the Australian National University in January. Detailed information about the program and online application forms are available at http://www.nysf.edu.au
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards:
www.d9680ryla.org.au is the site at which you will find all of the necessary details for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. On this site you will be able to download brochures on the program and Application Forms for the 2009 program which will be run at Vision Valley Conference Centre in Arcadia from Saturday 10th January to Friday 16th January 2009.
Honeywell Engineering Summer School:
This very valuable residential program can only be accessed through Rotary Club sponsorship and detailed information on the program together with application forms can be found at www.sydney.engineersaustralia.org.au/hess.html The program targets students about to enter their final year at school (Year 12) and takes place at Sydney University in early December each year.
Siemens Science Experience:
The website www.scienceexperience.com.au provides the latest information about the 2008-2009 programs, an application form that may be downloaded and posted or faxed, and an online application form for those wishing to enrol direct. The programs are conducted at Universities in NSW and ACT and participants are drawn from Year 9. The program is non selective but prompt submission of applications is recommended because programs fill quickly.
